Pool, being on the lakeside view was great. Easy to get to. Good tourist info for area.

It was a bit older than expected. Took a bit to get airconditioning regulated, but room was up to date.

This Inn is located right on the water.Premier spot right on Okanagan Lake. Next door is a hotel with restaurant service and good food. The pool & hot tub looked very inviting as well.

Obviously an older building with typical issues of sound proofing needing to be upgraded. Could here every footstep of everyone in the room above me as well as people speaking.

I liked the location. It is located near the lake, with beautiful views.

There are two parking lots without any signs or lights.

For 150$ per night it wasn't what I had expected it to be. While staff was extremely nice, I was still disappointed by dollar for value.

The location and its relation to the Manteo resort restaurant and facilities

The staff, (except the cleaning staff), were horrendous! We arrived at 10 P.M. and the clerk was locking up for the night. We had not been told that there were office hours. She was extremely unhappy and said "we do have to go home you know" in response to me being surprised at the fact that there is no night time staff. The next day a completely different clerk was at the desk and was again, very unfriendly and curt in her communication to a new guest coming in to the point that he and I exchanged glances. This same girl came around the pool later on and was like a policeman seeking everyone's bracelets. Again it was in her demeanor and approach, cold, direct, unfriendly. That day there were people smoking on the grass and I asked two fellows, (one a manager at Manteo and the other I don't know), if this was a non-smoking resort, as it had said..he said absolutely - everywhere and just speak to the Manager. She wasn't there. That evening, there was a new couple who had arrived in the suite next to ours and the fellow was smoking on the balcony. We went the next morning to the Supervisor on duty and my husband complained and of course, there was no recourse. That same Supervisor came out to the pool later and was again, extremely rude in her approach to the guests around the pool. She was not equipped with the right language to make guests feel the importance of having their bracelets with them. She DEMANDED that they be ON our person and she made one young family that was visiting another family, EXTREMELY unwelcome without any kindness - even though the pool was not busy at that time. I recognize the need for rules but there is well-known training for staff to handle these situations. I would recommend the hotel for the location and the decent suites - but will suggest that it is a "do-it-yourself"-type vacation without any service, (again - other than decent cleaning staff).

      Swimming pool and rate

We were not treated well at the front desk. Not well informed and integregrated about my mom joining us as a second adult.

The clean bathroom and the location.

It is not a hotel but a motel. Insufficient soundproofing. Crying babies in the adjoining room plus noisy plumbing from below kept one member of my party awake 2 nights out of 5.

It was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly. It was nice to see and feed the ducks and birds. The lake frontage was very nice.

Wonderful location on the beach. Good sized room.

Carpets in our room made the room smelt musty. Air conditioner drew smoke into the room when the people next door were smoking on the balcony.

I liked that it was small but was so close to everything. The rooms were fine, the pool was and beach access were amazing. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a view of the lake and at the same time be on the lake. Fabulous location.

The rooms are a little cozy,, but the beds are great...but hey...microwave, bar fridge and a toaster, what more do you really need.

The bed!! This was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The room was clean and welcoming.

The pool was so nice but there was a group of soccer kids on our second night and they ran from the lake back to the pool constantly mucking up the nice pool water! There should have been more control and supervision on that matter. I had a migraine on night two, the following day I put out the do not disturb sign and the chamber maid kept knocking - clearly he doesn't understand what do not disturb means. I also think that for being outdated and limited with generic toiletries it's a bit pricey.

I liked being on the lake shore. The rooms were very comfortable. People in reception were exremely friendly and helpful. Though I have a complaint, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I was in the room right by the stairs and the men went up and down the stairs very heavy footed also in the room above. When they went up or down the stairs they dragged there suit cases banging them on the stairs at all hours. Also there sounded like a constant drip on the ceiling of room 122. This kept us awake at night also with the noise.

The location-lakeside with the boardwalk and vista being awesome.

The dated and age of the Lakeshore Inn. The noise from the 2nd floor from creaking and squeaking ceiling-floors, and the condition of the carpeting were not very attractive.

Location on the lake was excellent. Close to other activities, restaurants and shopping. Excellent price. Great pool. Extremely helpful front office staff, Althea and Becca.

Housekeeping staff were persistent about getting into the room and cleaning. For people on vacation and attending lots of social functions, we wanted to take it slow and easy especially in the mornings.
